Over the course of several releases, I was responsible for improvements to the invite-a-friend process on Meez.com. During the first phase of the process, I designed an address book importer to Meez.com, allowing people to email Meez invitations to contacts in their Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc. address books. Overnight, invites sent per day increased from hundreds to thousands.
In a later release, I designed and managed the roll-out of a “Find Friends” feature built on the same address book importing back-end. I designed this flow so that as we add new features (like a buddy list), those features could be easily incorporated into the process. These changes, including a top-level navigation link for “Find Friends,” increased invites sent from thousands a day to tens of thousands.
Shown here are some mockups and flowcharts I made for these features.
