After launching Promonet, our metrics showed us that many people weren’t following the correct process for publishing music to their blogs and podcasts. I led a redesign of the Code Generator — the widget for getting the HTML and music — and a few other Promonet pages to answer usability concerns.
I wasn’t able to address all the usability problems encountered during usability testing of Promonet, but these changes did make Promonet easier to use and increased the completion rate of people correctly publishing the music to their websites.
